Foxes are native to the UK and are one of our most well known wild animals. They are a member of the dog family and therefore a distant relative to wolves. They are quite small, growing to just over the size of cats. Foxes are found in our towns and the countryside and will eat virtually anything - berries, worms, spiders and even sandwiches, and anything else they can find! Once they've found food they hide it to eat later.
They have crazy good hearing - they can hear your watch ticking from over 100 feet away! They can run really fast too - 30 miles an hour.
